Yes, “Anti-Thematic” is another cop-out theme. Big whoop, wanna fight?

I met Samuel L Jackson this week. And by “met” I mean I saw a wax sculpture of him at Madam Tussauds in DC. There were some realistic sculptures and some not-so-realistic ones but Sam Jackson was the most life-like of them all I think. I haven’t posted everything yet, but they will all end up in my Madam Tussauds set. Definitely a good way to spend some time on a humid 98 degree day…I mean you know the air conditioning is gonna be pumping at a wax museum.

Last week, the trailor for Ocean’s 13 (youtube version)came out and I just got around to watching it. I gotta say, it looks a lot better than Oceans 12, which thoroughly unimpressed me. For those that don’t know - I really liked Ocean’s 11 a lot and was really pumped to see Ocean’s 12…I think I may have even gone to it the weekend it opened, if not opening day… well it stunk, hands down.

The trailer for Ocean’s 13 was missing one thing which I am very excited about: Julia Roberts. She was fine in Ocean’s 11, but was a huge reason I didn’t enjoy Ocean’s 12 (Tess, pretending to be Julia Roberts - give me a break). I don’t see her listed on the Ocean’s 13 IMDB page, which is fabulous. I am a bit skeptical but the trailer has gotten my hopes up once again - friggin Al Pacino is the antagonist in this new installment. Near the end of the trailer, Andy Garcia is shown bantering with Clooney - this confused me a little bit, is he actually a good guy or is this one of those triple reverse schemes to get one over on everyone at the same time?

Take a closer look at the poster… there are only 12 people on it. Also more importantly, are they sitting at a poker table?!? The trailer did have a glimpse of the vegas strip skyline near the beginning, which is a good sign.

Should this movie have been remade in the first place? I say yes, because the remake was great…but should it have been forced into a trilogy? Probably not…but if 13 is any good, well two out of three isn’t bad.

Months ago when I was living with Stan, for some reason we were discussing Teen Wolf (probably because Toine said Michael J Fox is the only man he would bang). Stan informed me that at the end of the movie, an extra exposes his manhood for all the world to see. Since Stan is an expert on all things wang-related I took his word for it. Last night Teen Wolf was on TV…I took it upon myself to inspect for wang. I found the scene in question and saw definite underwear…however I think the extra in question is actual female!

Debate on the interwebs seems divided. IMDB says the extra is female, while other sites indicate male. I am calling for all semi-professional wang inspectors to chime in. Have you seen the movie? Can you make a judgment from the crappy screen shot I have here? (Crappy YouTube version) When I rewound my TiVo…I could make out a few female curves that aren’t so obvious in the downgraded youtube version.

Dream Update: After watching Teen Wolf, Michael J Fox showed up in my dream as a werewolf with the ‘bad girl’ Pamela that he doodled from Teen Wolf. The only catch was, they were in a Delorean time machine! Unfortunately no extras with exposed themselves in my dream.
