The Underground

So…..how are the two of you (my readers) doing? I have this ring on my finger now…it indicates that I am married. Katie is now required to obey my every command (actually there was nothing like that in our vows). That means there was a wedding and a honeymoon (I just typed homeymoon…something differeny entirely). Both the wedding and honeymoon were great…I’m having some troubles getting fully back into the swing of things after a couple months of things being hectic, then a couple weeks of absolute relaxation.

There are lots of pictures, none of which were taken by me at the wedding, and all of which were taken by me on the honeymoon (I got a little carried away at times as Katie will surely attest). As I go through my 600ish photos I will be posting them hon my flickr account in a “The Honeymoon” collection which will contain sets for London and Paris. Don’t worry, I won’t be posting 600 photos…I’m hoping to keep it well under 100 for ease of perusing…plus a lot of them suck or are duplicates as I was trying to get something “just right”. Check back on the honeymoon collection as I will be adding more photos soon.

Meta Introspective Blog (may bore some):

As reported on Stanus.butt I have been under a blogging drought. I have stated in the past that I hate when bloggers post once every few months just to say, “sorry I haven’t been posting” so I try not to do that. There are many reasons for not posting… I’m lazy and I’m busy are two that come to mind but mostly I think I haven’t found my blog voice.

I like writing about things, about a subject…the subject rarely includes myself and my daily activities…but it does include my hobbies and interests which have varied over the years (most recently photography). I will read every word on my friend’s personal blogs recapping their lives and find almost all of it all very interesting because I know the players involved. When it comes to my own blog…I rarely enjoy recapping my adventures in life. Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy my life, just not specifically writing/recapping it. I do however, like a creative output…blogging has never been #1, it’s usually been secondary to my current hobbies and interests – an aide. I also desire a more interactive blogging experience…comments and such…I will be trying to think of new ways to make my blogging interactive…I don’t know that I will succeed but I’ll give it a thought.

I will continue to figure out this whole blogging thing out. I may even pull a Nate’s Noodle and change my layout again…I’m no longer liking my current layout…so keep an eye out. FFFTANG!

    wow look who updated

    congrats buddy

good luck on the interactive-ness increase…i think everyone who blogs wants that. perhaps a web 2.0 business can be built once you perfect the environment for it.

just be sure to give it a catchy name that ends in “er” but drop the “e”

    instant success.
