I pass this farm everyday going to work and for a few days there were a bunch of hay bails sitting out. Finally, on the third day I remembered my camera and took a few photos. I thought they looked a lot better as HDR and post processed a bit. This one is hand-held steadying the camera with a fence post. This photo with less hay was made from a single RAW file…I might have gone overboard with the sky… decide for yourself.

There was a fence and a lot of little trees in the way so I had to find a good spot to shoot from. I didn’t want to climb the fence and risk being chased out by a crazy farmer on a tractor, I was viewable from the house in the distance. I was a few feet from rt 7 the whole time, but only got honked at once, I presume it was a comment on my fine physique. After uploading and placing the photo on a map, I found a photo of the exact same farm with hay that someone took just the day before.
