Faithful Bee-Log readers I am not dead, I was just on a short hiatus from blogging. Most of my readers are RSS based, but I am trying out a new blog layout…I’m going for something a bit more basic and flexible so I can safely display photos at a decent size without breaking stuff. Exciting I know.

The annual stanus.net blog ratings are in! Here is what he has to say about the mighty bee-log:

“The Bee-Log is the brainchild of Brandon Jones: photographer to the stars! It hosts his strange thoughts and daily musings as a poker-addicted web developer and, now, his forray into the photographic world. I used to consider him my main blog rival, but his blog output has decreased lately, and, to be honest, most of this year’s blogs have been subpar. His photos are inspired and interesting, but I crave a little more substance.”

Guess I’ll have to step it up for next year. I would go into details of how I plan on making this blog more exciting…but meta-blogging would be quite boring..I’ve done enough of that already!

Anyone (who hasn’t joined already) that is interested in photography… I have started a photo group on Flickr called “Picture That“. Each week a group member picks a theme, and everyone takes a photo somehow relating to that week’s theme. After just a couple weeks everyone (including me) has become a bit lazy. Step it up people.

Random blog yes, but more shall follow.

    No, that’s just me being lazy over the holiday weekend and not shaving…it doesn’t exactly grow evenly over my whole beard area so you can see it better around the goatee area.

    I can’t grow a decent beard, yet I am sprouting some gray hairs!

    dwayne: B-Log does have plans to be more photo centric…one of the primary reasons I did the re-design.
