15 Degrees on the Shenandoah

I drive over this same spot over the Shenandoah River twice a day, five days a week to and from work. Today I decided to turn off and snap a few quick pictures because the ice floating looked really cool. It was only 15 degrees out so I worked quickly…I would have done a few things differently if I was not in such a hurry to get back to the heated car.

I’m not sure how ling Flickr has had geotagging functionality built in, but I just noticed the map link near the exif link for each image.  The link takes you to a map with that photo as well as photos from other users around the same area.  I geo-tagged a whole bunch of my photos today including today’s photo:

Taken from Castleman Rd between Bluemont, VA and Berryville, VA just off of Rt 7.
