Satellite Beach

Satellite BeachLast weekend was spent at Satellite Beach FL with Katie and het Family…condo right on the beach. At high tide I could have literally jumped into the water from the balcony…there would have been a few broken bones, but it could have been done. I didn’t really see any spring breakers there, unless senior citizens count as spring breakers (we even had a view of the pool and the 80 year old hotties).

Satellite Beach is right near Cape Canaveral and apparently you can see the shuttles launch from where we stayed. When I was little I of course wanted to be an astronaut (only kid EVER that had that dream) and was even in the Young Astronaut’s Club in elementary school. I know what you’re thinking…”What a cool eff’n club, why wasn’t I in that?!?”. It was a very exclusive club, VIPs only. Paris Hilton was even rejected from the young astronauts club…and she can get into any club!

FeetWe spent one day at sea world…I think the last time I went I was <= 5 years old so I spent most of that day pimping out my stroller I'm sure(it has spinners). I did notice this time at the "Shamu” show that like 4 different whales were all named Shamu (Usually only had one out in the main water for each stunt). Only 1 whale had a different name… Mamu – this beast was 12,000 pounds. The highlight of the day for me was Kraken, Sea World’s only roller coaster. Steel, 65mph, 7 inversions, and floorless. The best part was there was absoultey no line even though the park seemed packed (I guess most people don’t go to Sea World for the rides).

When I got on the plane to come home it was 87 degrees out…when we landed in DC the pilot announced the good news that it had stopped snowing and was a nice 37 degree day.

Unrelated Watercooler “News”: Danny wore a polo shirt inside out to work today by accident…that is awesome.
