Saturday night hoover and I went to see Galactic at the 9:30 club for the 2nd of two shows there. The show was absolutely amazing and I never considered myself much of a galactic fan before this (I had heard some of their stuff but never saw them live besides hearing them from afar at bonnaroo #1. A good bit of the show they played with New Orleans based band “The Stooges” which included a couple trumpets, trombones, cowbells and vocals. I definately recommend them if you are a fan of any type of jam band music (I would describe them as jam/funk/jazz/fusion).

The night started out at Dr Dremos for some free beers and a little run in at the taco bell…for more on that and some pictures check out dairytwist. We saw some guy jump down onto the metro track to get his hat – pretty funny.
